Vuka Evo Carbon Extensions reduce wind resistance through better air penetration and provide arms and wrists with a comfortable and relaxed position. The Evo shape, with a 20mm inward return and multidirectional curvature, is now available in carbon for the first time in its history, allowing for even more complex profiling and lightening the weight of the product.
The Vuka Evo Carbon 70 and 110, by taking the Exogram technology found in SRAM RED cranks, pushes the performance of aluminum even further. The contoured end ensures a better grip and offers a smoother transition from the rear of a mechanical shifter.
The cables all pass inside the hanger. The supplied end caps visually and aerodynamically match the SRAM RED eTap Clics and, thanks to their sanded finish that provides excellent grip, there is no need to use bar tape.
The length has been increased to 380 mm (360 mm originally for the Alumina Evo), which further increases its compatibilities.
With the Vuka Evo Carbon 70, and its 70 mm bend, the hand position is the same as with the old Ski Tip extensions.
The 110mm bend of the Vuka Evo Carbon 110 guarantees the best possible position for riders who opt for attaching the extensions below the handlebars. It is now the preferred handlebar for many professional triathletes who use the SRAM RED eTap. With its two bend options to choose from, increased length and improved ergonomics, the Vuka Evo Carbon allows riders to adopt an optimal position.
