Plus uses the same body as the Pro model, the much thicker padding guarantees maximum comfort. It is covered in real leather in the black versions and microfiber in the colored versions.
PLUS is generously padded, also recommended for trekking bicycles.
The patented features by Selle SMP, such as the completely free central channel, the original eagle-beak nose and the raised rear give these models an interesting aerodynamic touch. It is also recommended for trekking bicycles.
Suited for people with medium-wide and wide pelvises.

1 : Central channel : The result of extensive biomechanic studies on saddle positioning and on the structure of the gumain pelvis, it is distributed over the whole length of the saddle, from the rear to the tip. Whatever the position assumed by the cyclist, it avoids compression of the perineal structures, preventing on the on the one hand and risk of vein, artery and capillary occlusion. On the other hand, the occurence of nerve injury (among the most common being tingling and numbness).
2 : "Eagle beak'' Tip : Designed to allow the rider to adopt even extremely low positions on the handlebars that involve an increased prone rotation of the pelvis, comfortably and without crushing of the uro-genital area. The exclusive shaoe if the nose also constitutes an ideal support base for the classic ''thrust'' style of pedalling.
3 : Rear depression : Protects te coccyx from bruises and shocks caused by the roughness of the terrain.
4 : Frame length : The saddle is by far the part that most influences the cycling position. The SMP Saddle seat tube offers the widest adjustment range and allows any person to fing the perfect forward / backwardnsaddle positioning, like on a made to measure bike.
5 : Sitting position : Shared between the buttocks, the ischial tuberosities and the high branch of the ischium. Depending on your anatomical build you can chosse from different shape and padding combinations.
