The Litetrek Pro III is a double-walled 3-person tent, designed for light trekking on alpine terrain, where optimal protection against harsh climatic conditions, great stability in windy conditions and the use of a backpack compact and lightweight are essential. Three season tent, it is optimized for use during the warmer months of the year. Wind tunnel tests for stability at 90 km / h were carried out by the Technical University of Munich.
Its rugged and reliable double-walled semi-geodesic construction puts two layers of fabric between you and the elements, utilizes all the space, and strikes the perfect balance of weather protection and ventilation. 100% self-supporting, it is easily mounted on rocky terrain, or on cramped alpine sites that do not allow a tent to be set up with stakes and guy ropes. Alternatively, the anchor points can be extended for more flexibility, for example on snowy terrain. Its flysheet is made of droplet-resistant 50D ripstop polyester and PU coated with a 3000mm water column, the floor is made of a tough PU coated 70D ripstop nylon with a 5000mm water column, and the inner tent is made of 66D ripstop polyester with a netting and mesh entry to create a mosquito barrier. The ventilation is regulated by a panel with zips on the back (which can be used from the inside and the outside) allowing you to regulate the fresh air and prevent the arrival of humidity.
In addition, our 3S Speed Set Up solution with its short, flat sleeves and hooks ensures easy and efficient pitching of the tent. And if the weather is good and the nights are mild, you can go easy and only use the flysheet.
