The Fulcrum Speed 40 DB wheels, as their name suggests, are a high-end full carbon competition model, specifically designed for disc brakes. This new mod is distinguished above all by its carbon fiber rim with twill finish.

Like all previous Fulcrum Speed wheel models, the SPEED 40 DB 2WF offers an excellent and specific solution for those looking for a precise result: winning. The performance of Fulcrum Speed satisfies both the specific design of disc brakes and the advances in terms of compatibility of modern tires, combined with the proven, universally appreciated and proven efficiency structure of Fulcrum.

Thanks to 2-WAY FIT technology from Fulcrum, the new model is perfectly compatible with tubeless tires and air chamber tires.
The method of manufacturing the hole-free carbon fiber rim results not only in a structure perfect for tubeless or air chamber tires (thanks to the characteristic of being provided with holes, except that valve), but offers a stronger and more robust construction capable of withstanding the most extreme racing conditions.
The combination of the choice of versatile tires and the wider and more modern rim allows better adaptation to wider tire formats, which are becoming more and more widespread not only among amateurs, but also among professionals.
The inner width of the rim is 19 mm for an extremely dynamic tire profile (from a width of 23 mm), compared to the remarkably dynamic rims of 40 mm, whose sophisticated shape reaches a maximum width of 26.5 mm.
