This versatile carbon road wheel is perfect for riders looking for the perfect balance of weight, aerodynamics and efficiency. New spokes and hubs give the Cosmic SL 40 lightness and responsiveness on hill climbs and acceleration.
The rim features a 40mm high and 26mm wide NACA profile, specially designed to support all types of performance on flat and hilly terrain without fail. With the new rim top deck profile, fitting tubeless or inner tube tires has never been easier.
Who says UST Tubeless says no inner tube, so no friction and a larger volume of air promises a smoother ride. The result: increased speed with greatly reduced rolling resistance. The improved spokes allow this wheelset to save 80g over its predecessor, the Cosmic Pro Carbon UST. Combined with our brand new Infinity hub platform, which guarantees responsiveness in any situation, they are stiffer and more efficient.

The Cosmic SL 40 is designed specifically for rim brakes. The tried and tested iTgMax process includes patented laser treatment of the brake band. It helps reduce stopping distance in both dry and wet weather. The layered design and heat treatment process helps make the strongest and most durable of all carbon rims designed for rim brakes.
