As athletes spend more time on the large sprockets on the cassette, they gain power and reduce wear and tear on equipment. Equipped with the most robust X-Dome architecture on the market and the proven XD cassette body, it is also backwards compatible to offer even more Eagle possibilities to today's bikes. Compensated multiple times at the Olympic Games, World Cup and World Championships, it fits perfectly with AX1 compatible XX1 Eagle components. The XG-1299 cassette takes advantage of all the options offered by the new Colorsystem Eagle. Available in Black, Gold, Rainbow and new copper, the XG-1299 cassette completes the look of the most accomplished and most appreciated bikes.

X-GLIDE 2 is the new generation of SRAM X-GLIDE technology optimized for the EAGLE 12-speed cassette. It provides fast and precise gear change performance across the entire development range, and increases chain retention on the largest sprockets.

XD Cassette Body

The XD is a cassette body which allows, by design, to use a small pinion of 10 teeth and which guarantees an improved interface with the cassette.
